SeniorFITness Senior Lifesteps

Programs Overview

How can your seniors be fit?
Let us count the ways.

Living life to the fullest means more than just being healthy. It means being fit to perform your daily activities and to live the lifestyle you enjoy.

Your seniors can live more fully day to day thanks to our wellness programs and activities because they address a variety of age and disease related challenges. We integrate specific, complementary exercises, so your seniors follow a practical path to achieving their fitness, activity, and wellness goals. And we measure progress.

SeniorFITness programs benefit your community in five ways by:

1. Enhancing Multi-Dimensional Personal Wellness. Our Functionally Integrated Training program empowers individuals to age successfully through the inclusion of all dimensions of wellness to support overall health and well-being. Our own, proprietary best practices ensure consistency and continuity that enable your seniors to achieve a level of wellness that's right for them.

2. Improving Your Seniors' Day to Day Living. Wellness based, our programs are designed to help your seniors make the most of each day. They provide a firm foundation for managing age-related health challenges, including those that are chronic; reducing a participant's risk for falls and functional decline, and improving cognitive functioning through a specialized program, Brain Fitness.

3. Applying Exercise Guidelines for Healthy Aging. Fitness assessments, program design, and personalized fitness programs are guided by licensed physical therapists and certified exercise specialists using a proven integrated rehab and wellness model. Your seniors benefit from our extensive experience and specialized expertise with the specific health challenges of aging.

4. Matching Residents with the Right Services. Our Senior LIFEsteps assessment tool identifies resident service needs and facilitates effective interventions. Your seniors have a solid base from which to pursue lifelong health and well being. Ongoing fitness instruction, health education, and creative wellness support are all provided through our "fitness prescription for life" approach.

5. Measuring Senior Health and Quality of Life. Both quantitative and qualitative methods are used to measure, track, and report on the wellness status of your seniors using our proprietary, field-tested "fitness outcome measurement system."

To implement SeniorFITness for your community, we'll help you determine which program service option will serve your seniors and your organization most effectively.

  • We offer complete turnkey management and staffing in which we operate the program on site.
  • Or, under our licensed programs model, we conduct thorough training and guidance so that your staff can provide the program to your seniors.

With wellness as the foundation, our goal is to help you help your seniors live as independently as possible for as long as possible.
